AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Providing excellent advocacy requires a formidable commitment and a team effort—in fact, often the efforts of multiple teams. Sharp quantitative analysis, tenacious fact-gathering, and deft media engagement can all complement great lawyering in high-stakes, high-profile disputes.

Therefore, we have built a firm that comprises all the competencies critical for successful advocacy. Several groups of handpicked professionals—financial and management consultants, private investigators, and public affairs strategists—work closely with our lawyers and, under their supervision, develop insights that shape case strategy from beginning to end.

This full-spectrum advocacy approach enables us to apply every advantage in every forum, positioning our clients to prevail both within and outside of the courtroom.

SUMMER PROGRAMS

Law Students

Our summer associate program gives realistic, valuable experience by exposing participants to all aspects of our firm, so they can make informed decisions about practicing with Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors. During the program, summer associates frequently attend depositions, hearings, strategy sessions, and client meetings. With access to practical litigation experience, summer associates regularly participate in the intensity of pre-trial and trial preparations and proceedings. Summer associates receive hands-on experience, working in a results-driven environment. Second-year summer associates are paid $4,500 per week, working a minimum of six weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks.

At Brewer, it’s not all work and no play. Our summer associates and interns attend many summer outings in New York and Dallas, such as dinners, major league baseball games, and bowling matches.

College & High School Students

Our intern program allows aspiring students of law to gain experience working on real cases with attorneys, consultants, and investigators. Each summer, we accept more than a dozen college students and high school seniors into our intern program, which is spread across Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors’ New York and Dallas offices.  Undergraduate students are paid $35 per hour, while newly graduated high school students are paid $30 per hour, working a minimum of six weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks.

RECRUITING SCHEDULE

We visit many law schools to give talented, dedicated students the opportunity to meet with our staff professionals.

OUR OFFER & COMMITMENT

From day-one, our professionals are entrusted with a high level of responsibility. In short, they own their cases. Based on our firm’s integrated practices and focuses, we also provide unique opportunities for attorneys interested in investigative cases, and those wishing to make tangible contributions to the communities we serve.

salary & compensation

At Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors, there is no limit to your growth. We have rejected BigLaw’s outdated compensation model for something more practical—a merit-based structure that rewards hard work and results. For more than 20 years, we have set the standard on compensation; starting salaries for first-year associates are presently $250,000. We also have the most aggressive partnership track in the country—because we realize it’s not age that matters, but energy, commitment, and ability.
